Vineyard Notes: Grapes are sourced from Stella Crinita's estate vineyard, which is 4.5 acres and was planted in 2014. The vineyard, located in the Vista Flores subregion of Tunuyán in Argentina’s Uco Valley, was Demeter certified biodynamic in 2012. Grapes are always hand harvested.
Winemaking Notes: This pét-nat of Cabernet Franc is fermented in stainless steel tanks with 50% of grapes going through a cold soak maceration for 6 days, while the remaining 50% is direct pressed for a total of 27 days of fermentation. The wine is made in the ancestral method with 9 months on the lees and no malolactic fermentation. It is bottled with 12 grams of residual sugar to finish fermentation in bottle. No additives or invasive procedures are used in vinification and no SO2 is added at any stage. Stella Crinita's wines are never fined or filtered.
Tasting Notes: The fruit-driven nose has notes of raspberry jam and delicious red apple with a touch of pink bubblegum on the edges. Bright, fresh, and crisp on the palate with juicy, red fruit and a hint of freshly baked bread. It's exploding with flavor!
