Shiny red wine with purple notes, dark fruits on the nose, balanced between the tannins and the fruits on the palate, enjoy within 5 years.
Description
After several wine experiences in France and abroad (Spain, Australia and New Zealand), Benoit Daridan took over the 15-hectare family vineyard in 2001. He is the 7th generation. His wines reflect his passion for his terroir, and he works tirelessly to preserve its local tradition. The vineyard is located in the heart of the Loire valley in Cour Cheverny, and it lies between the 2 famous properties of “Chateau de Cheverny” and “Château de Chambord”. The most notable characteristic of the vineyard is a 2-hectare section of 50-year-old vines. The unique grape variety for the small appellation of Cour Cheverny is the Romorantin (established by King Francois).
