Description

In 2008, after working for several years on the family estate, and having earned a BTS in marketing and oenology, and with internships in Burgundy and California under her belt, Jeanne, the daughter of Pierre Gaillard, took over the stewardship of 5 ha of IGP Crozes-Hermitage and 8 ha of IGP Rhodaniennes Hills.

The Jeanne Gaillard vineyard is located within 3 administrative zones (Rhone, Loire, Drome) and 3 districts (Marsaz, Malleval, and Ternay). The soils are composed of pebbles, sand, and detrital granite, making it an ideal location to grow both red and white grape varietals, specifically syrah, merlot, viognier, roussanne, marsanne, chardonnay, and muscat. The average yield is about 60,000 bottles per year.
