Ruby was produced from organically grown grapes that were hand harvested at the end of September at 19-23 points of sugar. Pigeage was performed in large oak and partly plastic casks. There was 1-month skin contact and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks followed by 8 months of ageing in big oak.
This dry red wine is deep and bright ruby with hints of purple. The nose shows pronounced cherries and plums. On the palate, this elegant and velvety blend shows a gentle opulence of red and forest fruits with a hint of licorice, fine tannins and acidity that gives a wonderful freshness and length to the wine.
