We had a blast celebrating our 10th anniversary with you all in April. We indulged in delicious Bitter Pops Anniversary Smashburgers and jammed out in the Taproom with some live music. Now, it’s on to May, where the flowers are blooming, Summertime Chi is graciously creeping her way in, and the street fairs and markets start again!
This May, we turn the amp ALL THE WAY UP!We’re celebrating 30 years of 3 Floyds Brewing—three decades of loud, unapologetic, “not normal” beer. Founded in 1996, Nick Floyd fired up the kettles in Hammond, Indiana, and never looked back. What followed? A full-throttle assault on boring beer—giving the world cult classics like Alpha King, Dreadnought, Gumballhead, and the legendary craft beer celebration, known as Dark Lord Day.
Thirty years later, and the hits still keep on coming with new ideas and mouthwatering brews. All month long, we’re pouring a tight lineup of 3 Floyds for $7 on draft—consider it your backstage pass to some of the loudest beers in the game.
Kimchi Aioli Cheese Curd Smashburger:
We are going to pay homage to 3 Floyds’ brew pub this month, which back in the day featured delicious beer-battered, kimchi cheese curds! What better way to honor that dish, than to recreate this masterpiece and serve it on a Pop’s Smashburger?!
The 3 Floyds Kimchi Aioli Cheese Curd Smashburger starts off with our famous toasted potato buns. We then place two all-beef smash patties, pickled onions, fried mozzarella cheese curds, and smother this goodness with our house-made kimchi aioli! This explosion of flavor pairs perfectly with any 3 Floyds draft option available all month long!
Keep your calendar open on May 8th as we kick off our 3 Floyds’ celebration with Dark Lord on draft and a 3 Floyds glassware giveaway! The party in May continues on the 16th with Dark Lord Day in Munster, AND on the 16th & 17th, the Lincoln Ave Art & Craft Fair right in our front yard.
