Ancient Oak’s celebrated winemaker, Greg La Follette, brings extensive experience and a hands-on approach to our wines, starting in the vineyard, of course, where he walks the vine rows and works with Ken and crew to do as much winemaking in the vineyard as possible. His hands-on approach continues through punch-downs, tasting through every barrel, and sharing his quirky, upbeat personality with all involved. You will often hear Greg say, “I’m the luckiest man alive.”
